Never shift POV in a short fiction.
Readers expect the narrative perspective--the POV--of a story to remain consistent throughout. A POV shift is jarring and yanks the reader out of the story. Such a shift is generally considered an “amateur mistake”. (It's not uncommon to shift POV in novel-length works, but not within a single chapter.)
